I currently work as a SaaS Software product manager for Etailpet, a pet based ecommerce and point of sale company. I firmly believe that the most important skill in any work environment is the ability to listen, followed closely by an insatiable drive to figure out the “Why?”. In my current position I employ my love of analytics and problem solving to paint the user story and translate it into digestible ideas for development and stakeholders.

Care Ambulance Service (Falck)

-Developed a PowerBI dashboard from a MySQL database, tracking employee KPIs leading to a 32% increase in obtaining patient demographics; increasing the amount of billable transports.

-Conducted a process analysis of new employee training leading to a 13% reduction in total training hours while maintaining training standards.

-Worked with government EMS agencies reporting statistical analysis on over 124,000 patient contacts a year.

Languages

Python: I have been using python for three years. I frequently utilize the Pandas, Numpy and Seaborne libraries to perform linear regression analysis when exploring new data sets; searching for correlation across a number of variables. I also utilize object oriented programming to automate a number of sequences in my work life including report writing, dashboard updates, and webscraping.

SQL: I work with a MySQL system on a daily bases; writing recursive queries and complex joins that are effective and efficient. I have many dashboards which are all reliant on optimized queries to run efficiently.

VBA: VBA was my first introduction to programming five years ago. Although I do not use it as frequently now that I am familiar with more efficient options, it is still utilized in a number of macros and userforms for data entry and maintenance.

DAX: Utilized in a number of my PowerBI dashboards DAX is utilized to ensure my visualizations are clean and impactful. Giving only the information needed and nothing more.

Software

Excel: I am an excel power user with more than ten years experience. Mastery of V/H/X Lookups, Pivot Tables, and Power Query. I utilize excel for statistic analysis on a daily basis, breaking down complex problems into easy to understand stories with data.

PowerBI: Three years of experience developing clear and impactful data visualizations and dashboards. I have built dashboards tracking key KPI that have enabled management to identify key actionable items.

Tableau: Although my workplace is primarily built on a Microsoft system I am well versed in Tableau, using it for complex visualizations.

Crystal Reporting: Working in the medical field I am familiar with a number of legacy systems including Crystal. I am able to build impactful and accurate reports with Crystal.

SAS: I utilize SAS to perform a number of my daily data pulls for accurate reporting systems. I am familiar with the SAS language and can utilize it to reduce data cleaning.

Zoll / Imagetrend: Electronic Patient Care Report systems I utilize on a daily basis ensuring that the data our field staff collects is accurate.
